Wonder if Gareth Edwards is the after dinner speaker,he was many years ago and it was a hell of a good night's entertainment.

What is the point in going, its all done and dusted before the AGM its just a rubber stamp exercise for those on the gravy train, and it looks like if its a half seven start it could be a good way for those
on the H,west Tesco social handout to have a good p!55 up.

I would speak to a lawyer and see what he say's. I was at an AGM in Carlisle and they would not let a retired producer who still had over £60,000 in share capital into the meeting !! Disgraceful !!
If you are suppling someone else I doubt if they will let you in, and here all their secrets. Have a look at the rules, if it covers this !

I will do a bit of research then.

Dear member

October price hold

I would like to confirm our milk price for October remains unchanged at a liquid standard litre (4% butterfat, 3.3% protein) price of 28.5ppl. This equates to 29.47ppl on a manufacturing standard litre (4.2% butterfat and 3.4% protein) price

As always, we continue to ensure that we pay a milk price that is in line with our net returns and our focus remains on developing the markets and efficient processing which enables us to deliver long term security for you our members.

With regards to the markets, the impact of weather, global supply and demand along with the effect of currency has led to uncertainty and a softening in both the current and future dairy markets. The good news is however, that the long term fundamentals remain strong with good demand for dairy products around the world. We are certainly seeing this in increased demand for our own products both in the near and long term.

We have our AGM and member meetings coming up in October and I look forward to seeing many of you at these meetings in order to give you a further business update. The full list of meetings is below.

If you have any queries then please do not hesitate to contact your Area Manager, Member Council representative or the Membership Team on 0141 847 6800.

Yours sincerely
