First time plough

What plough, 150 acres a year roughly half/half spring and winter crop. Land is medium clays, high rainfall area, ground conditions can be all over the place in any given year.

Previous share farming arrangement is ending, and don't want to use a contractor. Don't have any previous ploughing experience so no idea what to be looking at. Would like something strong (we have big stones), easy to get bits and user friendly. Have 2 tractors available both on 650 tyres and 42" rims (718 and TM190), not sure if 5 furrows or 4 would be better, slatted or plain boards, size etc.... does brand even matter??

Kuhn Lemken kv and overum or kongskilde and NH they would be now, would be sensible choices all got good and bad points, kv probably cheapest to run as far as metal goes, kuhn strongest but heavy, they will all do your job take note of model numbers as they denote horsepower rating so get higher than your biggest tractor
