Fixing storage box to NH Fan weights

Has anybody done this please? Don’t want to take the fan weights off if I don’t have to.

If you just want to put a box on the top. The plates that hold it to the carrier will fit in the top slot. So get a couple of those and two m16 bolts of the correct length, drill 2 holes in the bottom of the box and job done.

We have one fitted on the side , used a large bar (may have been a broken Cambridge roller axle) welded to box then threaded in the hole to take the weight and secured with the clamp bolts
