Hi,
No not cheaper, slightly more expensive but we seem to be getting better results on side hills, and a much neater antenna set up with the IMU built into the antenna.

Do you users of FJD leare the base station switched on 24 hours a day and never switch it off?
i keep mine in the shed in its box then just stick the short pole (the base station is screwed onto) thru the top couple of wires on the fence when pulling into field. Switch it in and away you go! I live too close to Fife for leaving expensive stuff lying around in the field!

Hi, I need some help on FJD.2 aka Sveaverken. I contacted Svea and they directed me to my local dealer. Dealer is new on it, but they installed the system quite fast, calibrated it and left. It looked like they knew what they were doing. It worked fine for a day. Then next day I noticed, that wheel angle sensor in settings is disabled. Checked the sensor itself and it turns out they mounted it directly on the axle and it is not moving when I turn the wheels. So I replaced sensor to the right location and turned it on in the settings, hoping it would help with steering accuracy and response time. Tractor was steering quite nice even with disabled sensor but I have read somewhere that it would be even better with sensor especially catching lines after turning around. So after sensor was enabled I can't calibrate the steering. I fallow the steps from user manual, go 50m stright from point A to point B manually, then turn around and activate autosteering and it should go from B to A. It starts nicely on B, goes stright, but with slight angle. After 50m I end up not directly on point A, but 60-70cm to the right (I can see that in tyre marks and it also shows on the screen, that point A and A-B line is aside.
Anyone knows what to do? Would love to figure this out without my dealer, because after "No angle sensor" installation I don't trust them anymore.
Without calibration I can activate autosteering but it goes through the lines with maybe 20 degrees angle and doesn't stay on one line. Goes completely stright but let's say I start a 3m line and after turning around it catches line 5, and after I activate autosteering in 50 meters it is already on line 6, after another 50m it's on line 7 and so on. It still says I'm on line 5, but on the top of the screen it says I'm 6.00m off my guidance line.
So what do?

As you can see it goes by the line, not on it.

I’m sorry it’s not working well.
this is the problem in general with FJD and SVEA. They will sell to anyone who shows interest in becoming a “delaer” and then the help is not easy to obtain

I never fitted the wheel angle sensor on mine and it steers ok. I think your problem may be somewhere else in the system.

Got a link? Im happy to bolt on sterring wheel, not sure what it will be like to use forward reverser though??

Anyone also used at2 now which sounds like they had to because of chc competition.

Ant...

If tractor is steer-ready, you should be good to go. No software unlocks needed

did you ever get this sorted?
Yes. But don't really know what was done to sort it out. After I lost hope to make it work myself, I contacted the dealer. One of the guys came but couldn't figure it out. So few days later two of them came and with help of Turkish technical support (they said that for Europe main technical support is located in Turkey) with 2 hour videocall they still didn't knew what was wrong. Then Turks contacted Chinese support, and then someone from China remotely connected directly into my terminal and probably changed something in non visible settings as I understood. Now it works fine with wheel angle sensor enabled.

Okay glad you are sorted. There is a dedicated tech guy for the UK but he travels a lot throughout Europe so isnt always on hand. I have never heard of the tech coming from Turkey but who knows.
Im guessing the "Dealer" you bought it from doesn't have much experience with the product, and this is the problem with FJD allowing anyone to be a dealer just to get a quick sale.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you are having further issues that you cant sort.

Kind regards.

Hi all, a little help would be much appreciated please - I'm currently trying to swap our fjd system from the drill tractor to the combine, the computer won't let me change the steer axel to the rear or change the vehicle type. How would I go about doing this please? Thankyou
