Going to be getting second container in next week, already bought the timber and roof sheets to cover 4.5m span between them

If i scrape back some topsoil what would be good/cheap material to lay down as a floor?

ok i am considering a concrete floor....

How thick? how much compacted material underneath it?

What do i need to have ready in the way of tools/supplies for a pour?
I assume for 27m2 i can cope alone?

5 inches thick on a good surface, you just need some bits of wood, shovels and a helper

Put as much hardcore under as you need to get it solid, don't cheap out, your floor is only as good as your sub base. If you are t used to laying concrete then get some helpers in. Make it easy

If you order it with 100 slump its quite easy to level out, but order it 100 slump DO NOT WET IT UP ON SITE WHEN THE LORRY ARRIVES

You can put a bit of water in

By the time you've been and bought ballast, bought a ton of cement, then spent ages mixing it, I bet it's cheaper to get Readymix

Well 5m3 is the smallest load which will be nearly 8 inches. Just clear the topsoil and pour. I can't see you having a problem in the next 20yrs let alone 5yrs.

got a firm local-ish that offer mixed and volumetric, so i've asked for a quote on 3-4 cube to start with

Round here they still charge 80% of what they dont bring but could carry.
