Footvax and milk !

Thinking of footvaxing ewes this week and due to lamb from 8th March , Any issues regarding milk been reduced ?
Is it too late for this year?

was told dont footvax pre lambing as effects milk yeild , i think its on data sheet as well , maybe better to do it at weaning now , let us know if you chance it

We’ve jabbed them 4-6 weeks pre lambing for years and no issues

Our vet advised we can do ours early in Feb for April lambing.

I have always footvaxed housed ewes 6 weeks before lambing, had no problems with it. Lame ewes will cause more problems than the footvaxing IME.

you are not suppose to jab with heptavac / ovivac as it puts the immune system under pressure to cope with 2 vaccines.
ask your vet regarding pre lambing - but you'd be handling them for heptavac anyway at some point?
