hi

Just so others can compare/check theirs

My 2 x 4Kwh solar arrays have done a combined total of 817kwh for March

That’s Jan Feb and March monthly 5 year records for me

That’s just March. 817 kWh
that is a terrific yield, you must have had some really clear weather for that yield.
mine averaged about 75% for this month, even then we beat the official target figures for our area by 10%. Target being 68.45 KWH for each KWp installed during month of march in East Anglia
you will probably get DECC coming to inspect:)
have you just cleaned them?

Hi ExFarmer.
No we haven’t cleaned them, they just sit on the roof same as ever.
Output has always been fantastic
And I believe that’s because of the solar edge system which seems to be advantageous

The system was quite expensive when we put it in c£11k 5 years ago and the FIT was around 12.5p/kWh
So I hope for high yields

1.76MWh the production for the first quarter JanFebMarch2019
Best yet by miles

That is a phenomenal, do you know your yearly average?
That same quarter my house , which is a very high elevation and always does better in winter relatively, managed 1375 with a 7.8Kwp install

Last year was 8.39MWh
Year before 8.41MWH
All the last 4 years have been over 8 MWH

We are in County Durham but the array is near perfect elevation and alignment

interesting, my figures are probably average for the quarter, so you have had a terrific quarter thanks to local weather, as while overall very good, they are not as good as I thought you going to come up with. We certainly had a fantastic February but a very disappointing March,.
It can't be that grim up north :):):)

Just done a run from Northeast Scotland to North Essex and the most advanced crops were in Northumberland, so not surprised you are getting good solar yields.

Assuming you were on the A1. Lot of heavy ground which was drilled in ideal conditions last back end then has enjoyed a low rainfall winter. Never been saturated for any length of time

Not so far from @curlietailz our 30 kw produced 2109 last March. 1963 this March
That is 70kwh / kw installed last year - 65 this this

Interesting @Exfarmer target for march in East Anglia is 68.45. So in the grim north we can match that ;)
The targets are actually DECC forecasts for solar interception . I guess they are on average about 20% under the actual realistic performance.
The figures were used for forecasting returns and possibly gave the highly over generous payment system we had under the FIT regime

And on the flip side, NOABL wind forecasts have led to some disappointed investors.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
