I have a 1970 Ford 3000 leaking oil from the pto shaft. I am replacing the oil seal but the new seal looks completely different to the old one. They are exactly the same size but the old one is cased in steel with rubber inside and the new one is just all rubber. I am worried that I may be inserting the wrong seal though it is supposed to be for a Ford 3000.
