Does anyone know who supplies a Ford 4000 hydraulic cross shaft new? Can't find anything on Sparex, Agriline or Kramp. Only the shaft up to the 3910 and the shaft for the 5000 upwards. Or does one of these fit? Thanks.

I had one go on my super major a few years back and sourced one from agriline. It was ok but like you was stuck in terms of other options for replacement. You could try them but it’s likely to need some fettling to get it to fit. Have you tried looking at breakers? Swapping the whole top cover might be an easier option than stripping out the old shaft. From memory they’re pretty straightforward to set up as Well

Thanks for your replies, when I stripped it this morning it turned out the splines in the arms had stripped not the shaft, again the usual suspects didn't supply them but found them on the QTP site so will get a price tomorrow. Cheers (y)

Would used genuine ford parts not be better than spurious new parts ?
