Ford 4610 pick up hitch cable

The end came off my pick up hitch cable I priced a new one. Can't get a serious one so it's dealer only and that £115+vat.
Question is is there anyway of putting a new end on the old one?

Might be able to make you a new one for less money, although you'll likely have to send the old one as a sample.

Check the hooks that hold draw-bar up as these get loose on the shaft and try to tuck under when picking up hitch which will snap new cable..

That's the problem mine has a screw adjustment at the end of it. I got that one and it wouldn't work.

Just to let you know I got my cable sorted.
A local parts shop got it sent off and got it remade for me for €30 so happy days.
