hi
hope some one can help please..... i have suddenly got a hissing noise... same if im using one of the buckets. if i move one of the buckets the hissing stops ... noise seems to come from multi unions at the back near the back hoe where all the hoses connect...

the strange thing is now the engine has now lost power, unless i move the backhoe or front bucket i suddenly get power again,,,but once moved the power to the wheels reduces again..

if i leave running with buckets in the air they dont drop,,, so its strange the bucket movement encourages power to get up the hills..

could it be one of the linkages needs agjusting??? its got plenty hydraulic fluid..

any stuggestions please as i dont know hysraulics well but good on teh spanners... theres no leaks i can see

thanks

There's something sticking somewhere. Is there an Extendahoe on it? Is the pedal centred if fitted? What about the side shift clamps? If they work like a JCB it'll not matter where the unlock lever is but I wouldn't know if the Ford works on the same principle...

That could happen on our old JCB.
