Ford 7840 aircon

Does anyone know if there is a separate fuse for the aircon, blower in cab working fine but no power to compresser.

Just looked at the manual, it says the blower motor and air con are on the same fuse.

There are usually high and low safety switches to protect the system in case of incorrect pressure. They can be bypassed with some creative wiring to check which it is. They are changeable without de gassing the system. Try running power direct to the compressor clutch.if nothing the clutch may be at fault.

It stopped working last year when tĥe header tank overflowed pooring water over the compressor, when i had it regassed by New Holland dealer a few years back they replaced a fuse but the main blower was working ok which is why im thinking there is another fuse somewhere.

Open the door
