I was just wondering how many of these machines appear on the market. I fancy one as a bit of a restoration project, just minor restoration and maybe paint, nothing too hard, but I'm not sure there's many to be had these days..... Nothing seems to appear on ebay and there's one in Tractor and Machinery that's been on there for a couple of months so is probably sold.

Oh well, keep looking, as soon as you buy one you'll find another 6 better and cheaper ones for sale the following week!

I can't really afford one just now, I've got to sell my Cat D4 first to get some spare cash.

That 8200 went for £4000.bargain
That's about its worth I think, they aren't desirable,tw-10/20 aren't much more and there a better tractor, they fit that category of too big for smallholder types etc and they weren't popular when new so they don't hold a value really.People may ask higher prices but I'd say that was bang on money

I was watching it and it didn't sell as no-one bid on it. I would value it at around £6k as there aren't many left. Agreed, there were lots of better tractors made, but these are a bit rare.

There was a 8100 4wd at a sale I recently went to. Sold for £5700, pouring black smoke out, body work shot to hell and interior wasn't much better.

Considering I bought a 1988 TW15 almost two year ago for £6000 as a winter project, I thought the 8100 was a big pricey!

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
