Forster technik calf/lamb feeder

I picked up a Forster technik from an auction and so far after a good clean it’s all working nicely, although I keep cleaning out the boiler from the bottom hose now and then as it’s full of sh!t. Although after I’ve been emptying the boiler and filling it back up again I think I’ve burnt the element out or the thermostat (hot water seemed to have brought more sh!t out) it keeps tripping the electric as soon as I have the heater on. Anyone know what the ideal replacement is or shall I take it apart and look for a number?
Not a problem at the moment as they’re on cold milk now but a job for this summer
