Do you mean getting a break from a mortgage .

Although I agree I sort of don’t. Your landlord has worked hard, saved , scrimped etc etc to get to that position why shouldn’t he be in line to receive good fortune. I would 100% agree to viewing the situation very differently if the person was laid off or on sick.
 
4.5 months is plenty of time to serve notice and go to court. It shouldn't be that difficult unless you are within a contracted term. But you have no chance now.

In fact I expect the government will suspend Section 8s and 21s.

Section 21s were discussed in PMQs today and I suspect they will be suspended.
