Freshen pasture

How long would it take to freshen up a pasture before it would take cattle , got a few fields that need reseed but will have to have cattle out on as calving ?

It takes a new re-seed around 10-12 months to establish fully.

The first graze after re-seed can be taken at the two-leaf stage for the second and subsequent grazings graze at 1000-1400kg/DM/ha which would be around 6-7cms.

6 to 8 weeks in good growing conditions but would not take heavy stocking at start . Direct drilling would be 50 % better for taking stock
