That one has 3 sets of worn power harrow tines, a chunk of worn plough metal then concrete, made an earlier one purely with concrete, its the same size but without the tool box.

Ah right yes I had thought of making the shell and then going to local scrap yard and seeing if I could get some heavy metal and then pour concrete in to fill the gaps

I built me weight box to have minimum stick out past the front arms .
I cut a 8x8 box section in half and put some 6mm plate in to make the box 12mm top and bottom filled with concrete and the swarth off the workshop lathe weighs 250kg with space on rear for 4 27kg suitcase weights if needed you could also make a box to fit in between the arms for your tools

not a very close up pic, might get a couple more tomorrow if anyone is interested.

first outing at local ploughing match, approx 500kg at the mo, sat nice on the road, night need a bit more when ploughing a hill but will wait and see.

So what did you use to get the weight? I'm guessing same as fraserb you just filled with heavy scrap?

For now it has 8 MF tractor weights and 4 56ib weights. Local scrap man I expecting a large quantity of scrap 20 - 30mm plate in soon so will get 500kg of it and make a plywood floor above it for tools.
