Think this is the right place- just cultivated, simba express with st bar, 13.5 ha on a full tank of diesel (175 l) on new holland t6, 150hp. How does that compare..
Seems OK.. Depends how many hours too thoThink this is the right place- just cultivated, simba express with st bar, 13.5 ha on a full tank of diesel (175 l) on new holland t6, 150hp. How does that compare..
Too many variables to compare. Depth, soil type, compaction,Think this is the right place- just cultivated, simba express with st bar, 13.5 ha on a full tank of diesel (175 l) on new holland t6, 150hp. How does that compare..
Same here …4 litres acre no tilling
4 litres acre no tilling
That’s pretty damn efficient !!I run at about 2.5 l / ha, planting zero till with 12 m disc planter & 300 hp

I guess you have big acreages to go at ?
Our average field size is about 5 acres !! And nearly all of it has some gradient
I was quite happy with my 10lit per ha till I saw your post
flat, open, no fences, farming about 800 ha in 7 fields . . .
heavy black alluvial clays on a floodplain
long term ( 30 years + ) zero till / full stubble retention.
Disc planters, only running from say 40 - 75 mm deep
hydraulics to run air seeder & vacuum fans are quite a significant draw in hp, actual draught requirements are relatively minimal
a bit off topic but what gives the clay it's black colour? volcanic ash?flat, open, no fences, farming about 800 ha in 7 fields . . .

Unipress- no idea as I didn’t do that job but probably too much.
Subdisc- better but still too much
Drilling-not horrific but could be better
No but it could be worse I could be running John Deere thirstys………Some ppl never happy
