So with duty at 10.70ppl that's 1.8ppl to buy deliver and make a profit on who did you buy it off ? I call bullsh1t unless we see the invoice to prove it
but if bought at negative price...…. no, I agree with you, with your above post, perhaps it's right, how long can we store it in 200l plastic drums?

Is there any duty on heating kero?

I believe not.

Im wondering if we will see ridiculous low prices for a short time to get some kero moved in household storage tanks while the industry sorts itself out/adjusts production.

33.9 for red diesel and 16 for kero today can’t see it dropping much more so ordered some up. Forward buying for harvest august/September was at 43p, think it could take a while to climb back up to that so left it.

Cheapest I think I ever recall kero was around here was about 9p Litre.

I certainly remember red diesel being 1 shilling and 3 pence per gallon - it was actually cheaper than kero ‘cos cherry had no duty on it.
Which is why farmers used it for central heating boilers.
Oil fired AGAs though had to use kero for the hotplate burning system.

( Equivalent to 1.37 ppl !)

That would be around the time Dad filled up the sprayer with it and sprayed it onto some wild waste ground infested with rabbits and then set fire to it.
