Beware filling those old plastic oil tanks. I had one old empty plastic 2500 litre tank left in the yard by somebody.
Dug it out of the nettles and tanker driver noticed signs of cracking around the top. He advised covering it with a tarp to stop sun.

I've got an empty 2700ltr plastic one spare, it’s only 4-5 years old but has a couple small cracks at the top. Plan was to put it in a steel box as a bund but not got round to it yet.

Does kero keep ok, say for 12 to 18 months. Or is it like diesel and better used
My one kerosene tank has never been empty in 25 years and I just keep topping it up annually. Not had any issues and boiler runs fine on it for about 5-6 months when in use. I don’t think it has bio fuel in it to my knowledge.

anyone had any fuel prices today?
Kero seems to have become very expensive compared to what some have paid recently on this forum. Still waiting for some more quotes but i can seem to get anywhere near the 12p area
