My local agricultural diesel supplier sent an e mail asking for farm code. Never been asked for this before.First steps on the way to rationing? Last delivery lorry drive I spoke to told me thay had run out of commercial diesel in their storage tanks for a few days 6 weeks ago.
That's because of them needing to know you are a genuine farmer not a Bob the builder!

Looking to organise fuel cards, never bothered before. In Cambridge area, got GULF in the village, Shell, Tesco and BP within 4 miles.

Which cards should I be looking at for best rates/terms?

Any advice
We had UK Fuel card which was fine at local filling station then it changed to Gulf and UK Fuels were always 5p above pump price.
Asked at station and they recommended Certas card which we now have. Certas are always a few pence below pump price and works well.
Only difference is that Certas pay week after whilst UK was about 3 weeks after. Not a problem as our main purpose of card was to have one receipt for Vat.

Just Ordered 600 Litres of Kero for mothers tank.

£627.85 inc the Vat.

Should give here half a tank then see where the price is come winter.
