Had my diesel man in the phone this morning; he asked why farmers are so quiet at the minute. On,y thing I could think of is the arable boys not drying grain.

Going to ring him back and see how cheap he’ll go but I know it’ll be ‘what’s in the tank cost us xx!’

They are fine, just don’t place your order when your tanks are empty (try to be organised) as if a firm has won the tender, and one of their direct customers rings up needing some quick, it is the boiler juice orders that get relegated down the delivery list.

You're right. My order was up to Sept 7th delivery, shorter delivery time prices are much higher. Organised for once...

The strange thing I find is if I call up a firm direct, I'm usually offered a better price and delivery is within 48hrs rather than 4-8 days.

Used to use them all the time, but they got expensive after a while. Now deal direct with certas, oils cheaper and delivery is much faster !.
