Putin has told the Saudis that he will not cooperate with cutting oil production - look for an oil price war - €20 a barrel may not be unrealistic and will help our part time PM off the hook for a while if his henchman Sunak does his worst...

48.56 ppl for 14k litres of EN590 gas oil this morning. No sign of the drop in crude carrying through just yet & I can't see it dropping much for deliveries before the Budget mid week.

todays oil price if it sticks will resultin a 10 drop in kero and diesel

the economic cost of coronovirus is going to get a lot worse
airlines use a lot of kerosene
with Russia and Saudi falling out there is not likely to be a cut in production that gets ahead of the fall in consumption this year

Red- Had one quote for 0.5097ppl and one 0.5675ppl this morning. Derv 0.9950ppl and 1.0355ppl.

I was expecting sub 50p and sub 95p !

If the chancellor alters the tax on Wednesday can the oil firm change todays quoted/agreed price if not delivered before Wednesday?

I cannot see the tax rising this budget due to the massive uncertainty
if anything there will, be economic contingencies to cope with the massive down turn we will have in the next 12 months
our economy is a service economy and when eventually we get bad coronavirus the service sector will get hammered
airlines and cruise cos first then all hospitality business, sport and marketing shows

My supplier said that if they couldn’t deliver my order before the Chancellor altered the duty the price would reflect the change. Same day delivery of gas oil doesn’t happen around here. Usually 2-3 days.
