Tanker driver been into us this morning and said all drivers are being tested with a thermometer up to 3 times a day; when they arrive for work at Killingholme, when they come back in from deliveries & when they go home. If they have a raised temperature above normal they're being asked not to come into work. No time like the present to get some ordered.

How are people getting quotes in the low 40’s high 30’s. The best I could get was 48.5 up to 52 and delivery by the end of next week. Think somebody is cashing in on the panic buying if crude oil price is lower, trouble is people will need it when it drys up next week and even though I had some in the tank I couldn’t afford to hang on weeks in case delivery’s didn’t happen at all.

Just had a very brief conversation with the 'salesman' from Brogan Fuels / Certas Energy:
Me -"What price is 2000L of Kero?"
Him - "42.6p"
Me - "Are you having a f**king laugh?"
Him - "What do you mean?"
Me - "Thats 8.6p/l dearer than everyone else, and using Covid to gouge your customers eye's out...., frankly, It's a disgrace."
Him - "Errrrrrr...".

I hope Certas' corporate 'last man standing' business model (buy out the competition and run local monopolies) means they're borrowed up to the eyeballs and going under ?
