Don't usually comment on here - but I do find this thread very useful, so I'm doing my bit. (y)

All suppliers say that prices are on the rise - but no names, sorry. It is a long, long time since I bought at these prices.

Quoted gasoil, 5000litres, from 34.3 to 36.5 - kerosene, 1000l, from 16.5 to 19. Interestingly the 16.5p/l quote came from a supplier who started at 25.5p/l - I didn't think much of his sales technique and bought elsewhere.

Certas just put in 2300 kero at 18p and red 2500 at 36p, both had a point something but I can’t remember what. Times like this I wish we had a much bigger farm tank.

I've been quoted
Thought I should top the tank up as crude seems to have started climbing again. 1500L red @ 36.55p (Certis).

Everyone quoting delivery at 10-14 days.
I had the same idea this morning!
1500 red 36p
1500 kero 20p

2000 red 34.2
1500 kero 18.8
construction back shortly so red may not go down any more. Kero probably cheaper in June when everyone’s forgotten about heating and still no planes but I’m nearly out. £285 for a years heating will do me.

Demand hasn't increased so I can't see it rising much in a hurry.

I'd say it's those within the chain wanting to try and rise prices (or margin?) a bit that's keeping it up. Crude has risen slightly but I think that's more due to speculators trading than anything else. I can't see that rise being sustained for long - it'll fall away again when speculators lose confidence and don't keep buying thinking it's going to rise.
