Don't know what it is but it is used for Rayburns, Aga's etc.
Certainly seems to make my Rayburn burn cleaner and does not soot/carbon up so quickly and can go about 18 months now between services. Was recommended to me by the person who services my Rayburn.

had the fuel pumps go on 2 boilers here , 1 at 6 months old and the other at about 2 years , plumber advised to put some additive in , when speaking to the driver when delivering the fuel his own ideas on the problem was the newer pumps were built to a tighter tolerance , have another boiler over 10 years old same make never had a problemWhat’s the additive you refer to for the heating oil?
