Thought mum had run out of heating oil on Monday night , badger fuel quoted 200 l @ £ 499 delivered 🤔 fortunately was boiler fault engineer out within 3 hrs ordered bit more oil @ 85ppl
Best to get the delivery guys to fill a couple of 25litre drums when you next get a delivery. That way you won’t be held hostage to paying that sort of rate.

Had same sh!t from Watsons, if they can’t b!oody we’ll deliver when they say, they shouldn’t take the order.
Near enough given up with them. Not been able to buy any fuel from them in ages, whenever I ring I get told we can't tell you when it will be delivered and we can't give you a price but you can order it. No thanks lads, no thanks. Usually use Northern Oil or NWF at the moment,

Last time I got a quote off watsons the lad got on his high horse when I told him he was 7p out, he told me it wasn't possible as they couldn't even buy it for that. Definitely won't be ringing them again

Watson's will never come here again, wan#kers.
Bought red from Watsons through farmdeals. Never had as much hassle.
Not used our watsons account for a while so no longer valid unless updated. Phoned local depot, he could do it with a few button presses (as everything was still the same) if we bought direct through him. But couldn’t do it because it was through farmdeals 🤷🏻‍♂️ He also argued it wasn’t possible for the price I had to be cheaper than he quoted!
Had to set up a new account via head office. Filled out direct debit details but kept getting invoices & overdue statements even though I’d emailed numerous times to ask what was going on & why direct debit wasn’t sorted. Ended up with a blunt email telling them they weren’t getting payment any other way until they sorted it out. Normally its one useless person not a company of them!

My last order for heating oil a few weeks ago was from Watsons. They actually answered their phone ( not had that for a while) and gave me a quote which was cheaper than the other companies I phoned. Was told delivery would be in the next 10 days but not told when but I did receive an email from them the day before delivery. Talking to the delivery driver was very interesting. He reckons Watsons have got too big buying up smaller suppliers, they have also cut the number of drivers and also introduced a computerised delivery route planning system that the driver said was a joke.
For example, he said he was in Calstock and had to reload and next delivery was Callington. Computer said go back to Plymouth to re load, he phoned the office and said he was going to re load at Keltic ( owned by Watsons) in Launceston which is a lot closer so that is what he did saving miles. Just seems they are trying to do too much with less staff and a management introduced computer system which does not allow for the drivers local knowledge.

And yet despite all that incompetence they still seem to be profitable......yet a farm run on a shoestring to be as efficient as possible is left really struggling. :(

And that farm run on a shoestring, has got to pay money to AHDB who will tell them they need to cut their costs and how to maximise profits for the rest of the supply chain.
