DARESDOWN FARM, UPLOWMAN – SATURDAY 20TH APRIL

On Easter Saturday the Stags On Site Sales Team headed to Daresdown Farm, Uplowman, Tiverton to disperse the Machinery and Effects on behalf of Mervyn and Sue Rowe. Stags having sold the property were delighted to be instructed to conduct the sale and were even more delighted with the vast crowd of potential purchasers and spectators that arrived on the morning of the sale.

The sale highlight was always going to be the 1949 Field Marshall Tractor and after spirited bidding it was knocked down at £11,000 to go to its new home in Cornwall.

The Fowler Field Marshall Crawler was sold in situ as it required attention but nevertheless met plenty of interest and eventually sold for £4,100.

Other prices included £6,800 for the 1983 Ford 5610 2WD Tractor c/w Loader; £6,400 for the 1999 Case Maxi 15 Digger; £1,350 for the 1958 Nuffield Universal Three Tractor and £1,250 for the 1959 International B250 Tractor.

There were many interesting lots on offer on behalf of the Rowe’s which included the 1992 Nippi 3 Wheel Tricycle which sold for £380 and range of taxidermy topped at £240 for an Otter.

There was a good range of outside entries which topped at £4,200 for a Ford 3000 Tractor, other prices included £1,600 for a 1968 Nuffield 4/65 Tractor; £1,250 for a Kubota 1500 Compact Tractor and £900 for an Allis Chalmers B Tractor.
