Not good news with the spot potentially rocketing, I don't know why anyone would go through the last 3 years with first milk and leave when they've sorted their arses from Thier elbows out

Three years ago we thought they were sorted out, look what happened.

That is why the Board is now controlled by comercial businessmen and not farmers, the farmers on the Board and chairman did not want to be first to cut the price or members would have resigned in there droves !! To late for many I know.

Interestingly, just the other day I had someone ring me up to try and persuade me to rescind our notice. I politely declined.
To be fair, we've been around the 27ppl mark for a few months, and I'm not sure what we'd get with arla atm, but it would be similar I think. The big difference is that arla are unlikely to go bust, so apart from general milk market worries, I can sleep at night.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
