Future of first milk

Im sure that logic works for any milk buyer.

Gleefully talking like that when the livelihood of other farmers is at stake is pretty poor in my oppinion.

Im not a FM supplier but we certainly dont need less competition in the market, if you dont like them dont supply them.
Couldn't agree more, whilst some would take great enjoyment from FM or any other buyer packing in, in the case of FM the whole industry would be worst off if they did, as it happens FM seem to have things under control and going from strength to strength because of the hard decisions they are making. And long may it continue as it wasn't too long ago the vultures were circling waiting for the chance to rip it to shreds.

If that was aimed at me ,,
Not gleeful just certain I will be proved right and trying to warn others. They will take farmers down when they go.
I don’t supply them left years ago. Believed their bull dust for years cost me thousands. Bunch of parasites the lot of them.
I left when Evans was chairman. Immediately after listening to his bull down a phone.
As I said don’t shoot the messenger.
Industry would be far better off without them by the way. I don’t wish any farmer to lose money but if they are stupid enough to supply first milk that’s their look out not mine.

Not sure how the bottom 2 sentences in bold fit with the first. Sounds like you would take great pleasure in their failure.

@RastaBoy you were fortunate you had a choice in the area where you farm to leave FM, some are not so lucky and FM are the only game in town here just now,
so take you bitterness and twised crap somewhere else !!

Well said @westwards . Absalutly no need for Rasta to be as cruel. God knows his reasoning behind the industry being better off without another coop, absalutly crazy thinking

Without fm to lead the race to the bottom We’d all be better off. Cruel !! Grow up it’s my opinion.
grow up? I need to grow up because I'm supporting a coop? I believe first milk are paying a better price than arla at the minute, we aren't doing a great job beating everyone to the bottom are we

One swallow doesn’t make a summer. Yes if you support a co-op like fm you need to grow and learn maths.
Arla have shafted their members too but not driven as many out as FM. Yet !

I actually took advanced higher maths at school, absalutly loved maths. Only subject I enjoyed. Love equations like if you take a Rasta then add a boy to make Rasta boy, what do you get? Answer: a silly little boyo

Why not?! 5 mins off the motor way, solid bactos and cell count reasonable volume. I have never enquired into supplying muller, I don't want to contribute to destroying the market by helping business men in London get even richer

Exactly !
Nothing to do with location or milk quality.
It is you personally they won’t want !

That isn’t a flippant answer either. I was told at a meeting once it is as much about the attitude of the member now as anything else. The shoot the wheels off the plc tanker type who wants to come as a last resort isn’t welcome. Only cause trouble when they come. They aren’t that desperate for milk any more.
