I am jumping on this looking for a new watch that will statnd up to farm work and shearing. Had a vivosmart 4 previously which was grand but basic.

Worn 1 for last 3 years - no bother standing up to knocks. Charge it every 2 to 3 weeks. Doesnt have the features of a fancier one but ideal for a no nonsense rugged smart watch.

I'm a mechanic and wear the watch daily, still looks as new as the day I got it. Battery life is brilliant compared to any of the cheaper watches.

The Garmin app is brilliant aswell if you're into any sports.

Garmin venu sq2 here, taking evertything that's been thrown at it for last 6 months or so, no dairy mind you!, but its never taken off and been in oil, muck, sh1t and the rest with no issues, few scratches on screen but all functioning 100%. Battery life is 2-3weeks at a time easy, i like that it doesn't feel too bulky to wear and doesn't look like a half a computer hanging of yer arm!

I use the instinct tactical and while I don't work on a farm it's on every day including when out shooting and has not let me down in the 4 or so years I've had it

Ah good to know! Garmins suite of watches is a nightmare to navigate, bits you want from one etc not available on another etc. From a business point of view they have it bang on as you are almost driven to the higher end for what you want. I am almost at the point of going for the vivoactive 5 see how it holds up to shearing etc.
