Not sure if this is right section but here goes..... Needing a gas gun for keeping crows out of yard, any recommendations of make are good places to buy from, we're livestock farmers so not a clue about these things! Cheers

I use a protech mk 3 and mk4 and find the light sensor good on the mk3 as the mk4 does not Have one or adjusts its time for the chance in the sunrise but it is better as can set it of earlier at first light.

but you still need lead and to be ruthless with it

crows are the most intelligent of the corvid family, a gas gun will be useless, they will get used to it and the only thing you will do is annoy the he'll out of yourself and neighbours.
Trap or lead is the way to go .

Shoot one and pull its wings off and scatter them about the yard all while the other crows can see you do it.
Sounds excessive but it does work, it will be a long time before they come back.

Cheers for the replys, we have had ladder traps and got 100s in it altho they not keen on going in now, been shooting them and had same number, now with one bang there all gone and not to be seen for ages even with decoys out! Lots of food on offer for them with tmr feeding cattle.
At the end of my teather with them tbh.

I was catching both crows and magpies in a larsen trap, but my call bird has died. I was a member of the corvid exchange on facebook (where call birds were given away ~ I gave a couple away) but then the group just disappeared, which was a great shame.
