Our toyota’s can use a 47kg in less than a day if their running flat out, but on an average day they might use half a bottle or less. We refill our bottles from a bulk tank too. 3 ton and a 3.5 ton machines in a grading shed.

Not so bad if you can fill from a bulk tank but expensive to run if buying bottles. I would try and stick to diesel or electric if possible. Electric are good but limited to circa 8 hours before needing a charge which can be limiting. They are still using wet lead-acid batteries at the moment but I expect lithium-ion technolgy is not far away which would allow a quick top-up charge in a lunch break etc. Really depends on what you need it for.

Thanks. That’s answered the question
I’m looking for a teletruk for yard use
Seen one at a good price but it’s on gas. Think it would be better on diesel
