They're an electric column. No res.

855m 68reg just over 2k hours.

Just check the battery leads and the supply wire to the power steering motor. The 865 suffers more corrosion in certain areas as I recall. It's possible to read codes using Service Advisor which may help. I think it may also be possible to see the codes on the instrument unit,,,,, but I've forgotten how
