See, older tractors being restored, you’d be game.

And if I shared the massive drill or the large liquid fertilizer cart or the grain leg they’re putting up to manage the dryer… it’s all stuff not typically posted on here in such a scale and all the little boy hearts would go pitter patter

Grain leg? C’mon @Blaithin lets have the pictures…what the hell is a grain leg?
I’m not there right now  Plus it’s still in pieces laying around getting painted.

Grain legs. Bucket elevators. Lifters of grain way up high to get it into bins, dryers, colour sorters, bulkweighers, etc. Like these larger versions at work.

@Blaithin , what’s your take on Trudeau’s behaviour with the protesters.
We didn’t get a lot of news to start with (because the BBC are useless) , but more of it has finally rippled over here.
Is he now practicing Dictatorship in a Democratic country??
Sounds to me like he’s lost the plot !🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

He has. He’s been a nitwit.

House of Commons voted to support the Emergency Act 48 hours ago. Mainly because he made it a confidence vote. The Senate has been debating it yesterday and today and it hasn’t really seemed to be going in his favour.

Surprise of surprises, right now its saying he’s going to revoke it immediately because it’s no longer needed now that the protestors aren’t in Ottawa. (Keeping in mind they were no longer in Ottawa 48 hours ago either :ROFLMAO: )

Well I hope common sense prevails for all your sake. We were led to believe by the bbc that it was white supremacists and their supporters that had started it . What a load of tosh that was , all agenda led tripe that they wanted us to swallow. While as far as I can see , it was all normal working people trying to get their voice heard !

It’s complex.

One of the main organizers is a member of The Maverick party which is pretty much western separatism. The Maverick party was originally the Wexit party (stupid name) and was run by a gaping douche bag called Pat King. He’s known for his homophobic, racist, rants about a superior white race blah blah blah. So the Maverick party has a bad name because of its origins in the Wexit party with King. Also King was in the convoy and they couldn’t get him to leave, he was always near the front of the convoy all the way across the country.

So because of King and the Maverick convoy origins it was slathered everywhere that it was a racist convoy.

Trudeau then helped matters by calling it a small, fringe minority of unacceptable views, full of hatred, racists, misogynists, white supremacists and Nazi sympathizers which is why he would not talk with them. He only speaks with protestors he agrees with.

One of the main organizers is Métis, another is Jewish, the NDP leaders brother in law was one of the top donations to the “illegal” gofundme (Singh is a Sheik), the old lady on a scooter the Ottawa police trampled with their horses was a Mohawk Elder… the list goes on and on that it’s a diverse and primarily peaceful and helpful group of people from all different cultures and races. Yet the smear campaign from Trudeau continued as well as from many people who disapprove of the Maverick party. I even have friends who were telling me I was supporting racism because I wasn’t denouncing the entire thing.

Its all ridiculous and Trudeau was a big piece of tinder lighting up the fire.

Most things are a load of tosh. Take a look at the other side BLM my ass!
Pretty disgusting that those involved are profiting off of this. And do you hear it in mainstream media??

BLM is an acceptable protest though. Trudeau went out and spoke with protestors and knelt before them when they were doing their riot occupation things in Ottawa and Toronto for what, 3 months?

Somehow that wasn’t worth an Emergency Act…

What do you put the drop in yield down to @Blaithin @Crofter64 @Flatlander ?

Was it only the dry season or did other factors come in as well?

If it became commonplace (say 1 year in 3) it could start to really affect society across the world.
Its much wetter in the east than in central Canada. We had two dry springs and last year there was only 3mm of rain in May, which is usually a very wet month. But both years the rain came by mid summer and everything got back on track. There wasn’t much first cut hay and people were beginning to worry- but in the end there was plenty.

Two of the founders of BLM are avowed Marxists. They said so in their bios. Marxists, like our buddies Mao and Stalin.

That's so funny but not ha ha. Ardern is using "exactly" the same strategy here in New Zealand, right wing extremists at the protest in Wellington yet 45% voted Labour or Green at the last election, white supremacists yet 30% of the protest identity as Maori which is double the general population (15%)
Ardern like Trudeau hides when under pressure and both seem incapable of handling criticism.
Meanwhile like in Pihia or Hokatika yesterday Ardern runs and hides in her silver Mercedes.....🙄
