5mm here in West Kent. It should do the spring barley some good but I doubt the grass will even notice.

Well here in east Kent we have basically had nothing - extase is in ear starting to look a bit stressed. No rain in forecast - had around 15mm in last 7 weeks with a drying wind most days.

Must be on good ground,beginning last week my extase looked stressed and we have had rain

Well... this confirms my suspicions that Norfolk and Suffolk are now the hardest parts of the UK to grow crops... We get rain off the North Sea in the Autumn, and nothing in the Spring.

Yes I think we must be able to claim the driest few square miles in the country...

May so far 16mm (a few spots today though)

That's just 88mm in almost 5 months!

Plenty of sun yesterday then another 4mm over night, I honestly think we may be on for a record breaking growing season in this corner of the country. Seem to be getting a couple of days of good sun then steady rain topping up overnight make stuff fly now.
