they know your a big fan of metal detecting and have a large acreage so thought that would interest a big geezer like you from Essex

That is very odd ! just a bug in the xenfro software I guess (which is less than perfect) I will investigate further

Forum software is long overdue a big update which we are testing right now, will be a while before we can release it however yet

Oh no not something new again! That should fill a few pages!

afraid we have no choice. As devices, browsers and plugins upgrade and evolve the forum software's ability to work with them reduces, it's the reason why things like multiple picture upload etc stopped working

From initial tests the new software does offer a lot of improvements and is a LOT better on mobile devices. We will do our best to make it look as similar as possible though as we all know how much everyone likes change !

Not happening anytime soon though, early next year at best as we need to run it in test for a while before general release

Yes. Had this happen a couple of times in the distant past. Think there was a thread about it before.
