Getting WiFi in an office with ethernet but too far from the router for WiFi

Sorry if the title doesn't make sense!

I have good broadband into another office and ethernet around the buildings but little Wifi. I have 2 ethernet ports in a satellite office and need Wifi in there. What hardware do I need? Another router? It's too far away for an extender to boost the Wifi from the main router.

All sorts of options here all-network-expansion

I'm expecting one of these tomorrow to get around the same problem, I've got ethernet in the lounge behind the telly but the mobile can't pick up Wi-Fi in there.

So are you saying you have a cable to your office ?
Cheapest option
got a spare router ? Go into settings and turn off DHCP server. Your main router does that stuff. Incoming cable into one of the network sockets. Job done

Thanks. Unfortunately I binned my old BT router I had at home when I moved house so a wireless access point looks to be the cheapest solution.

I wouldn't touch any consumer stuff like netgear, tp-link etc...... go for draytek or something like that. The UI is a bit clunky but they just work.

Tp Link unit mentioned above would be fine, though I see it doesnt have extra ethernet ports in the back. They are handy if you want to have something on wired connection. Though a multi socket network switch is under £20 so easily sorted

Just buy a WIFI Access Point and plug it in using ethernet into a spare socket in the office, set the SSID and pass, done
Engenius are good

Fitted the TP-Link today and it works a treat, I've now got a full signal wi-fi in every part of the house and even most of the garden, these old stone built properties have bugged me for years, struggled with bluetooth landline phones because of it. Happy enough at £39

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
