But she was pretty much seen as a disaster at Co-op farms …. needed a much earlier push.
her CV is utterly terrible - these jobs are clearly very much about who you know

AHDB on radio 4 farming today this am . . Saying it is not going to happen without major rethink .
Sounded very much like BFU sound bites/ statement in all but name
Without TFF, @onesiedale , @CornishTone and I would never have met and so would never have pushed AHDB ourselves either. The TFF GG wouldn't exist and the group of us pushing for GWP* adoption wouldn't exist either (so AHDB would almost certainly not have changed their website and taken on John Gilliland).AHDB would still be providing that 250k of levy payer funding if its hadn't been for Myself @Grass And Grain @Humble Village Farmer and @Feldspar meeting them a few months before that decision and asking VERY awkward question and for them toi justify that spend on a scheme that restricted UK farmer market access
It s nice to see the NFU and AHDB finally come around this week to our (farmers) way of thinking re Red Tractor ! ........... would ANY of this have happened without TFF farmers creating things like BFU though and the voice of social media ?

Hopefully not us.For who?
Signing up to SFI might down the line mean you have already sold your carbon to the government in return for the money paid every year.
The power of TFF, isn't that right @Sid ?TFF has achieved exactly what I set out for it to do - give farmers a voice of their own / organise themselves to exchange knowlage and make change either at their own farm level or the bigger more political issues that affect them
every single member here is a part of that
True but the Minister (who sanctions AHDB and many other board appointments, levy increases etc and should be seeing value for money criteria as opposed to creative surveying of "farmers") must see BFU and give equivalence of recognition in the future. Thus visibility is importantlet's not worry about credit - its results that matter and fianlly BFU / the farmers of social media are getting listened to
rather ironic that those that (literally) created this problem now seek the glory for fixing it however I agree !
Here you go, they've gone public. Even quote our glorious leader.
No mention at all of BFU !

And RT,NFU and AHDB would have ploughed on regardless if it hadn't of been for a few members of the TFF and subsequent BFU.AHDB on radio 4 farming today this am . . Saying it is not going to happen without major rethink .

I see blenky is still spouting sh!te
I suspect he is eyeing up his next career move, onto the helm of a gravy train. That is the only reasoning I can come up with for such a stupid comment.I see blenky is still spouting sh!te
I thought they already was importing a fair bit at their requirements, unfortunately their requirements are as cheap as possible with not a care in the world for anything else.Elsewhere, Andrew Blenkiron, director at Euston Estate in Suffolk, said he would be “incredibly disappointed” by any decision to cancel the GFC and highlighted the fact that it was a voluntary standard.
“If we are not careful our customers will buy from elsewhere in the world from those who will produce to their requirements,” he said.

He is leaving Euston Estate and heading approximately 4 miles West to the Elveden Estate. Either way his comments suggest his snout is firmly rooted in a trough.I suspect he is eyeing up his next career move, onto the helm of a gravy train.
