Glamping booking agents.

Can anyone suggest an agent who would take over the booking side and possibly cleaning of a glamping site. I'm looking at this diversification as we're well located, but don't have the time to run it. Airbnb would be a possibly. Staffordshire based.

What do you mean by booking agent? Are you online?
I run my own glamping site and manage several others. This is not a thing you will do passively. Where there are people involved you need to be on call 24/7. Cleaning and bookings are only one part of the game.

I think on that basis you have two options - 1) let the whole business to someone else, or 2) employ a manager if viable.

Absolutely agree with both the above. Don't play if you can't stay!
If you don't aim to have a five star rating for every guest then I'd simply not bother. If you do want a five star review you pay your manager exceptionally well and that is a consiserable amount of your 'profit' out the window. DIY and you have to work at it. There are some serious players out there and to be mediocre isn't an option. Cleanliness, cleanliness and cleanliness are the three by-words.
Me I'm a 5* Airbnb Superhost or at least I was until now. We'll have to see how the future lies. It's up to you how you market your plot but you have to work at it. Repeat visits are your mainstay.

Maybe I've missed something. Although I suppose kitting everything out, roads, etc all add up.

Not in farming anyway. This IS 'Glamping' and the high end too. None of your rough stuff!

Its mad the amount of money some people spend of their sites. Depends on the market though. Some are £300 a night some are £50.
