If it is Full Planning. If it is PD it needs to be completed in three yearsMake a a start by prepping the site, then at least your planning cannot run out as you have started the build.
I know it is a long way off if you have just had planning passed but I have been told that there will be no flexibility in the expiry of permissions due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
If you and your family are confident that you are going to survive CV, and that there’s a reasonable future for your sector of farming afterwards and paying for it in the short term isn’t going to put you under too much financial stress then I don’t see why not.Plan was to put up a new shed here this spring / summer, planning has been passed, but i'm really doubting if i should be spending money on a shed right now, thoughts ?
If it is under full planning then just levelling the site won't be sufficient, the pouring of the concrete wouldWhat could be classed as start of works? Would the levelling of a field ready for building foundation works to start be acceptable? TIA
Moving an electric pole and stoning the site?If it is under full planning then just levelling the site won't be sufficient, the pouring of the concrete would
Moving the electric pole providing it is documented could be considered starting work; would be best to check with the planning officer rahter than assuming. Stoning the site would be less certain as this could be in realation to many different scenarios. Assuming the electricity board need to be involved in moving the pole then justification of the new shed would be needed and therefore directly linked to the planning permission.Moving an electric pole and stoning the site?
How much of a ballache was planning?
Would you be prepared to go through it again, to get the same shed re-granted?
