My son would like to go Hartbury ag college as we’ve heard good things about it and he likes what he sees there, but he needs to have other options in case he can’t get in could any one recommend some good ones please.
Also went to Lackham, really good college when I was there but unsure what it’s like now?I went to Lackham at Chippenham, that's was National Diploma in farm mechanisation, think that's a level 3 equivalent now. Would recommend
I believe the some of the college courses at Hartpury have business management components (well, I know they do because my boss is popping over to do a few sessions).Try and encourage him towards courses which contain transferable skills, especially business management.
Don’t say that. There’s always a future it just may not be at home. I’d say Riseholme would be a good option. Thanks I’ll pass info onto him. But I do worry there’s not much future in farming for him , he is passionate about farming but he’s not wanting to be a park keeper.
Can't speak highly enough of Hartpury, naturally.
I hear the college has record numbers this year so he'll have plenty of mates.
Re: Horses, I believe we're investing in an AD plant for them, there's that much muck......
Also: is he any good at Rugby?
