Personally I think it is to late to plant turnips so normally switch to mustard with tillage radish interval mix . What else is good to graze? Store lambs ? Thanks JB

spring oats don't stand a frost thoughWinter oats get going in the spring but spring oats will go well into the autumn. Add some radish and big seeded pulses and you have a three way mix.

No and if they get too mature they will commit suicide. I have had them stay green till the following July by grazing through the winter. No frosts that year.spring oats don't stand a frost though
