Not only the 15 digit government gateway number, but also a pin. Then they phone you with an access code...which they will say only twice....then 20 seconds later it self destructs...and if you email saying you're deaf, they will reply that they are sure you will be able to hear if you really really try. If you email too often to explain that being deaf means you can't hear, even if you try, they'll cut you off for two hours to ponder the wickedness of your ways...

Gone are the days when I used to be able to get in the car and go and talk to a human being at the local office. I used to quite like HMRC back then.

It's a government plot. We'll sort it out after the revolution.

It is now compulsory to have a computer and a mobile phone.

Do you notice how everything is being "improved"? Just been on Ebay. That is now "improved" as you can see from the comments on the community forum. Post after post asking how to revert to the old format as everyone hates the new. The simple answer is, you can't. It's been "improved".

Every piece of software or electronics equipment is "improved" out of utility, or has "added features" which we don't need as we never learnt how to use the old ones in the first place.

I reckon if someone were to invent something simple that actually worked, they'd make a fortune!

Surely as it’s a ‘gateway’ once you’re in you’re in, then go to relevant department.
We just have one number for everything

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
