Great. We'll see how firm the USA 'red line' is when it comes to it.

And now will our blessed gov. do the same for all other imports of all other products, where quality standards are not the same as ours?

If Biden gets in then a free trade agreement between us and the US will take ages and be alot more softer and less one sided I reckon.

Also Biden doesn't want us to have any border issues with Nortern Ireland and is more pro EU than Trump.

The Independent article says "Watchdog to finally get teeth to block chlorinated chicken and hormone-fed beef imports." But nowhere can I find any suggestion it now has powers to block imports. As far as I can tell it's role is still advisory only, and it's still chaired by an ex-Tesco employee
