The new hudson looks like a very nice trailer - very well finished. No clue on build quality though.
I'd buy another Gamic before I'd buy an Ifor. I know Ifors hold their value well but that deck ramp is a proper faff! It's a bad job when the GE factory is about 50 miles from me and I go to Wales to buy a ifor and you're coming all the way from Wales to here to buy a GE
When I win the lottery I'm going to buy a houghtonI'd buy another Gamic before I'd buy an Ifor. I know Ifors hold their value well but that deck ramp is a proper faff!
Me too. I might even buy one before then....When I win the lottery I'm going to buy a houghton
I would if I could justify itMe too. I might even buy one before then....
Why do some trailers get a judder on when running empty, even on a smooth road? I have had this with several makes I've borrowed. I tow with an L200 and you can see the pickup body flexing between the back window of the cab and the load bay.
Fair dos!Yes,to me they look like a Dutch barn on wheels. Not to impressed with the strength of the chassis from the wheels back either.
Just my opinion tho!
Latest photos posted by Gamic today:Gamic trailers is under new management and have moved to bigger premises and I understand they're building them a lot faster these days.
I've never seen one of those in the flesh but looking at those pics they look like a shipping container on wheels

Rustic is probably fair but then every farmer wants something at a lower costLooks a bit rustic to me and draw bar looks a bit femmer
Are they cheaper than other brands?Rustic is probably fair but then every farmer wants something at a lower cost
Ifor are usually cheaper than GE , Nugent or Hudson equivalentsAre they cheaper than other brands?
Don't worry what they look like, they're built like brick shithouses!I've never seen one of those in the flesh but looking at those pics they look like a shipping container on wheels
What does a T35 go for?Ifor are usually cheaper than GE , Nugent or Hudson equivalents
The Gamic lifting tray model sits in a niche segment alongside the Houghton T35. You're not comparing apples with apples on spec but it would be 2/3 the price , I'm reckoning ......
To be fair, I think you'd have to ask themWhat does a T35 go for?
