Grain drier set ups

Anyone got pictures of their mobile drier set ups? Looking for ideas to set it up with the intake hopper/tray set into the concrete so can just keep pushing grain into it (will be a place that any reject lorry loads could be tipped into also) Emptying through the gable end wall into a shed.

Also does anyone have any online/app way of monitoring temperature/moisture?

Can’t help with the set up but our master has an online portal which you log into and shows the grain temp etc.

If you're going for a fixed pit why not put in a static continuous flow drier? second hand elevators can be got for very little and mobile ones are dear in comparison to second hand static ones.

Already have a 12t master drier. Although it’s tractor driven with everything manual, would be nice to one day upgrade to something fully auto.

Devils advocate! Have you thought about a large tray type?

It's the maintenance and worry of leaving once they get older I think that for me that puts me off a mobile. That and I never worked one.🤐
35t tray here I put <1600t over it annually built 1984 done up 2007 It takes an hour to turn round. Neighbour has 2 sideby side 200t each I think.

I have thought about a tray and yes I’m sure it would be cheaper to run, would have to rethink how I would fit that into the system here though. Currently have a tractor running the drier, a tractor sitting on the trailer to take barley away to other shed and forklift there to load. A tray would take it down to a forklift only job even though it does seem like a bit of work to move it 2x with the bucket….

The mobile does do a job of cleaning the grain up…. Aye lots to think about before I’d spend too much.

We have a old mobile drier, just dry our feed barley with it, a big upgrade from indoor simplex bins. It doesn’t even have a aspirator cleaner but it’s great how you can put a hairy sample in and it comes out clean the amount of weed seeds it takes out too. Can’t think I’ve seen one set up with the intake down in concrete but I’m sure it’s been done sounds a good idea

Thats what we have done. The drier is about 80cm lower at the other side of the wall.
