We are slowly putting up a new 60' x 80' grain store.
We have the basic shed and we have just got the concrete panels around, we shuffled them in-between the girders which doesn't leave us with a smooth edge to drive the corn bucket against when loading grain.
My plan was to weld some plate between the girders which will be so far cast in the floor slab and gives us a edge to concrete a slope up to the panel.
What size steel should we use? Would some 100x50 angle be enough or should I just use some 150 flat? We are 20ft bays. If it is set in the floor 2" it doesn't leave a lot above the floor. How have people seen this done which looks the best idea?
Any top tips!?
