Grain Store Vacuum Nilfisk S3 versus Brigadier

Looking for a grain store vacuum cleaner. Debating between a Nilfisk S3 and a Brigadier. Is anyone running a Nilfisk S3 who could share their experience and comments on it please.

Have you considered a Big Brute? They are not cheap but they do last and have excellent capacity.

I can’t comment on the Nilfisk but we bought a Brigadier as a backup for the Big Brute and to save moving it but it’s junk. Another vote for the Big Brute.

the motors are the same as ones from a henry vacuume and a lot cheaper than oem

We've got a brigadier I wouldn't bother two neighbours have a big brute. One described it to me by saying it would take the wife's knickers of from 20 paces

Yes, I have considered one and have borrowed and used a neighbours in the past. Found it a bit clumsy and not that convenient when emptying the hopper. Plenty of suck though
All rather expensive for what they are

We have a camvac which is basically a cheap version of the bigbrute (oil drum with two motors on top). Got some age about it now and not had any issues, just have to keep the filters cleaned out.

Numatic here for 20+years and replaced with identical one. Easy to manouvre and empty. Reasonably priced compared to some. NVQ 900 industrial is what i have. £550 ish

Bearing in mind you said the small hopper was a negative would you, if buying again, specify the 100L hopper?
