What is the price of todays wheat and barley
is it worth growing barley on heavy land
or is it better to grow wheat?
over head cost of both?
its a head ake I feel its not going to get any better either!

Read Nix. Look at hgca prices. Prices now are unlikely to bear much resemblance to when you come to sell after next harvest....

you should be able to grow wheat at about £80/t. ............ when the weather behaves !

plenty margin in it at current prices assuming you can make it grow without water !
